Apply for a The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam pass certificate taken in the Japan

After passing the The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam held on or after December 1, 2025 in Japan, I will give a certificate of acceptance to the company where I will work. Therefore, you must obtain a certificate of acceptance (the pass certificate) from JAC.

Please apply for a certificate of acceptance on the smartphone app "JAC Members".
Before that, you need to install the smartphone app "JAC Members" and register an account.

Certificate application process

Those who have passed the exam in Japan can apply for a certificate of passing using the smartphone app "JAC Members." To receive a certificate of passing, please apply using the steps below.
Please prepare the exam information (※) you have passed before starting your application.

*Exam information includes your Prometric ID, exam number, exam location (country and city), exam date, and exam category, all of which are written on your Prometric Confirmation Letter.

Please download the certificate as soon as possible after it is issued.

Step 1.
Log in to "JAC Members"

1-1. Display the login screen

Tap the "JAC Members" icon.

If you have forgotten your password, please check the link below.

1-2. Log in to "JAC Members"

On the "JAC Members" login screen, enter your email address and password.
Tap [Login].
The "JAC Members" home screen will be displayed.

Step 2.
Enter your information in the "Certificate of Exam Application"

2-1. Tap "Domestic Exam Certificate" from the menu

Tap "Domestic Certificate of Exam Passing" from the menu at the bottom of the "JAC Members" home screen.

If you are unable to apply and a dialog box appears stating "You cannot make a new application because the following applications have already been submitted," please check the frequently asked questions below.

2-2. Enter your information in the "Certificate of Exam Application"

Please enter the information about the exam you passed, such as the "Confirmation Letter" issued by Prometric. There are also options to choose from.

①Prometric ID

Please enter the ID issued by Prometric.

②Examination number

Please enter your exam number.
Example: JP99000001

③Examination location

Please enter your exam location.
Example: Nishi-Shinjuku/Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building

④Exam date

Please select the date on the calendar that you took the exam.

⑤Selection of test category

Please select the category of exam you have passed.

2-4. Take a photo of your face

"Take a photo of your face"カメラのアイコンTap. An explanation of what you need to be careful of will be displayed. Read the explanation carefully. Tap the [Start shooting] button to take a photo.

*If there are any imperfections in the photo, such as your mouth being open or there being something in the background, your application will not be accepted. If you are unsure, please take a new photo.

On the "Confirm Face Photo" screen, check that the photo is clear. If it is clear, check each item and tap the [OK] button.

If there are any imperfections in the photo, such as your mouth being open or there being something in the background, your application will not be accepted. If you are unsure, please take a new photo.

The application is accepted

4-1. Confirm the message that your application for certificate issuance has been accepted

Once your application for a certificate of completion has been successfully received, you will receive a message in the app's message list informing you that your application for a certificate of completion has been received.

Step 5.
Receive a certificate of completion

5-1. A certificate of passing will be issued.

Once your certificate has been issued, you will receive a message informing you of this in the app's message list.

Open the message and tap the certificate to begin downloading.

Once the download is complete, the folder in which the certificate is saved will be displayed. Open the folder to view the downloaded certificate.
