Shouei Industry Co., Ltd.
Junpei Yamanishi
Date of hearing:
June 29, 2022
Yamanishi-san is in charge of taking care of the foreign employees. He is very friendly with the foreign employees in the company, and often spends time together not only at work but also in his private life. We asked Yamanishi-san about his experiences with the foreign employees and his thoughts about them.

Originally from Aichi Prefecture, she is spreading her message with the hope that people will fall in love with Japan and find fulfillment in their work here.
Comment from JAC
Yamanishi is affectionately called "Bae-chan" and "Biao" by the Vietnamese people in the company.
It was very impressive to see him watching over specified skilled workers with a kind expression even during the interview.
Once, the girlfriend of specified skilled workers who was working at Shoei Kogyo fell ill, and Yamanishi took her to the hospital in her place.
She also told us that Yamanishi had acted as a guarantor for another specified skilled workers when her boyfriend rented an apartment in Japan.
To foreigners, Yamanishi seems to be like a reliable older brother.
There are many companies in Japan that welcome foreigners like Yamanishi who come to work from overseas as if they were family.
We are looking forward to having you all visit Japan!
