The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam will begin in countries other than Japan
Testing will begin in Indonesia and the Philippines in July.

The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam in countries outside Japan, which had been suspended due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), will begin under new categories.
The exam will be held in Indonesia and the Philippines from July. Exam information for the two countries was released on June 14th. Entries will be accepted from 11am on June 28th.
In Indonesia, the event will begin in Yogyakarta on July 4th, and will then be held in three venues in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan and Semarang. In the Philippines, the event will start in Davao on July 11th, followed by Manila and Cebu.
This The Specified Skills (i) Evaluation Exam will be conducted using the Computer Based Testing (CBT) method, with the cooperation of Prometric, a company that operates a variety of tests in over 180 countries around the world.

If you take and pass the "The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam" outside of Japan, you can apply for a certificate of completion using the smartphone app "JAC Members."
